Internet Advances - WiFi

As computers have advanced, so has the internet. Computerized devices have become smaller and the Internet has reacted with implementing new technology to accommodate the needs of these devices. Mobile phones, data cards, handheld games, and cellular routers are just a few items that utilize the Internet from anywhere via cellular networks. People use pocket-sized computerized devices to access emails, instant messages, video communications, and web browsing.

WiFi is one of the best new internet advances that came from the Wi-Fi Alliance. It is a trademark term that some people equate with wireless LAN. It enables a device that has Wi-Fi technology to connect via wireless connections to the internet if the device is within range of any wireless hotspot. It allows instant remote use of a PC, laptop, game, or mobile phones.

Smaller computers and lower prices have enabled many people to become internet users for playing Online Games. New high speed connections and broadband developments have increased the overall satisfaction with use of the internet and reduced time required when using the internet.

Use of the internet has spread around the world, boosted in some restricted places by ultra small devices such as flash drives and pen cameras. Users can capture moments of importance, and mail out the devices, or hook into internet cafes and upload their footage to internet friends and websites.

Interactive communication is possible on the Internet. Games can be played with players in remote locations, and in other countries. By using web and mobile phone cameras, live video is transmitted to the internet and the world. Social websites are becoming the new job seeker hotspots as people pull out all the stops to find work.
Meanwhile, speed, performance, and clarity are continuing to be researched and developed as improvements to the internet continue.
